How we moderate chat rooms and message boards
As we want your online experience to be as safe and enjoyable as possible, a team of specialist moderators takes care of our chat rooms and message boards, using screen names starting with 'UKModerator'.
They are responsible for removing inappropriate message board posts and restricting chat in chat rooms.
Moderators are supported by a team of volunteer community leaders. They use screen names starting with 'UKLeader', and help to grow vibrant communities and stimulate healthy debate.
We feel that, given the volume of community users and the challenges that this brings, this is the most appropriate way to maintain AOL’s high community standards and enable you to have a safer and more enjoyable time online.
